Acolytes
Assisting the clergy is one of the important ways youth can be involved in worship. Middle school and high-school youth are invited to this meaningful participation in the life of this faith community. Interested in joining our acolyte team? Contact our Director of Youth Ministries to learn more.
Altar Guild
Members of the St. Mary’s Altar Guild provide multiple ministries in support of worship services. Flower arrangement, preparation of the sanctuary, decoration of the church for Christmas and Easter, wedding assistance, sewing and maintenance of hangings and fair linen, maintenance of sacristy supplies, and other forms of liturgical assistance comprise the work of the guild.
There are six teams who each take responsibility for two months in the calendar year. Experienced people work with new members, creating a wonderful way to meet and get to know others in this special place.

Readers and Ushers
We are always looking for new ushers and readers of all ages.
Oblation Bearers
Offer to God our gifts on behalf of the congregation by bringing the bread and wine forward before communion. All ages, and particularly families, are welcome to serve as oblation bearers.
Lay Eucharistic Ministers (LEMs)
Lay Eucharistic Ministers are a vital part of our worship together. After training, LEMs help the clergy at the altar with the distribution of Holy Eucharist. Let our Office Administrator know if you’d like to be notified before the next training takes place.
