The Lord Be with You

Life’s momentous occasions are often ones in which the church takes part.

Baptism2

Holy Baptism

Holy Baptism is initiation by water and the Holy Spirit into Christ’s Body, the church. The sacrament of baptism recognizes how God establishes a new relationship with us as we affirm (or sponsors affirm on our behalf) our commitment to faith.

St. Mary’s baptizes people of all ages. We celebrate baptisms on designated Sundays throughout the year.

If you are interested in baptism for yourself or on behalf of a child, please contact our Office Administrator to learn more.

Confirmation

If you are an 8th grader or above, you are invited to join the confirmation class that begins each fall. This is an opportunity to grow in faith, learn about the Episcopal tradition, and develop meaningful connections with peers and church members.

There are five sessions between October and April, with the confirmation service in May. Contact our Director of Youth Ministries for more information.

Weddings

Marriage in the Episcopal Church is a public covenant between two people in the presence of God and a faith community. We are happy to speak with you about celebrating your marriage at St. Mary’s. We want to help make this joyful occasion special and beautiful.

Please note that weddings at St. Mary’s are for members only and that all couples must participate in premarital counseling with a member of the clergy.

For more information about preparation and scheduling, please contact our Office Administrator.
