Greg joined the staff in June as Priest Locum Tenens, a priest who serves for a season in support of the rector transition process. His focus is worship leadership, chairing meetings of the vestry, and giving direction and support to the church staff. Greg brings 25 years of ministry experience as a parish priest, campus minister, hospital chaplain, and mentor to people in discernment and formation for ordained ministry, mainly in his native New Jersey.

Greg is married to Dr. Jacqueline Lapsley, president and professor of Old Testament at Union Presbyterian Seminary. They live with an elderly cat and an adolescent pup. Greg likes to cook, walk, bike, and explore the history, culture, and scenic beauty of Richmond.
